December 31, 2007

Cheers to you! 2007 was a dither and you gave it some flare for all of us. Thank you (and yours)!
Here's to a Doozy 2008!!
(are you Southern?? If not, your versatility is astounding.)

I did spend some formative years in Texas . . .

I will definitely check out KnitScene. I'm not sure when I can get to a LYS to get one, but I will! I'm looking forward to 2008. It's got to be different than 2007!!!!

Happy 2008!!

Hey, I have a question for you, hopefully you can help me. As you know we lost our dear old golden in November, so imagine my surprise when I found the perfect puppy a few days ago (I know, I know, crazy...but she's a peach). Anyway, a while back someone here mentioned some gizmo dohicky thing for brushing dogs and I believe that you tried the doohicky thingy for Chuck. Please tell me you understand what I'm saying and can aim me in the right direction, because the puppy is another golden retriever and soon (again) I'll be buried in dog hair (a basset and a golden retriever = enough hair to smother a girl).

It was fun to see you in Knitscene! Have enjoyed your blog all year. Happy New Year!

I had to go to 3 different stores to find the Knitscene issue, but I had to have it. I was really excited to see your full-page interview too! Now if I can just be patient until your book comes out...

Happy New Year!

Are people at your gym really that nuts? I knew there was a reason I avoid gyms ;)

Loved your post on knitting gifts for others! You are so right; I experienced that this Christmas. My husband has spoiled me with his responses to my knitted socks and now I expect everyone to react that way, but alas, they do not. No matter, we keep at it anyway. Thanks for sharing!

I saw you in Knitscene and I was SOOO proud of you! (Like I'm your best friend or somethin')

Anyway, A Very Happy New Year to you and your family... I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Knitting Nettie

Does the Furminator really work?

You know, I was raised with German Shepherd's and while I dearly love my Scottie and my mini dachshund...I still have a longing for Rin Tin Tin. I swore (after crashing) that we would never have a motorcycle again, but recently purchased one for my honey bunny....I am hoping he will relent and let me have my Shepherd. His complaint today, this very evening when I brought it up....shedding! Perhaps I should mention this cool gadget and see if it scores me any points.

best to you, Wendy. i am so glad to see you featured, and I am so proud!

Furminator works, but you have to use it frequently. . .

I read the knitscene last night and I LOVED reading about you and I'm going to knit that sweater! Congrats! I don't comment very often, but I read every post. You are a gem...I wish you all the best in 2008!

Warrior Knitter

Oh, God! I just LOVE that photo! And OMG! that's how I feel sometimes trying to fix a recalcitrant lace project.

Nice picture! :) Keep on going. You can do it. Happy new year!!

I was in the bookstore the other day and picked up a copy. I flipped the pages and saw your picture and was like "Oh! I read her blog!" It was really exciting!

Happy new year! Yes! I read about you in Knitscene! You're a star! Oh, and yes, Jennifer, the Furminator is worth every penny! We have two Goldens, and I couldn't stand it without this unbelievable tool!
