I receive many questions each day about to "how to knit," or general queries about knitting techniques, commonly used terms, and requests for help with Knit and Tonic, Custom Knits or Stitch Diva patterns.
I respectfully request that before you write to me with a knitting question, that you use Yahoo or Google to find "how to knit" videos and tutorials because they are simply great and do a much better job than I can via email, especially if you are looking for an explanation to a commonly used abbreviation in one of my patterns. (In other words, go to a search engine and type in: "Pm or sm in knitting terms" and hit return. If you are looking for a tutorial on short rows, for example, type in "adding short rows to knitted sweaters" and you will find many tutorials.)
I also request that if you find an error in any of the Knit and Tonic or Custom Knits patterns, that you contact me immediately. If you find an error in a Stitch Diva pattern that I have designed, please contact Stitch Diva.
Below you will find a list of sites that may have information that you are looking for. There is also a very active site on Ravelry called "Knit and Tonic Knitters" who have knit many of my patterns and can assist you in yarn substitution questions, how to add short rows questions, as well as many other queries.
In the meantime, if you find an error in a pattern of mine or need to contact me for a business related issue, please write to: knitandtonic@gmail.com
Thanks!
