Some of my kid's favorite things were books that involved cutting paper and/or drawing. Like a huge Origami book with page after page of different papers to tear out and create. Then there was the Lady Diana paper doll book that my daughter received from my Aunt who was obsessed with Princess Di. All the dresses in the paper doll book were costumes from previous members of royalty. Some to color with color pencils some already printed in color. (One of my favorite paper doll sets when I was a kid back in the late 60's was the Jetson's!) We need more toys and pass times that involve more than just thumbs!

Thank-you! Will pick it up for my favorite 8 year old.
