The other day, I was having a swim at a neighbor's house, the one's whose cousin plays guitar with his toes. Not that it has anything to do with it, but I feel like if I don't mention the cousin you won't know who I mean.
Anyway, we were sitting there, sipping tea or something like that, and watching the kids swim. She had a lot of work done in the backyard of late, including re-doing the pool and tearing down some landscaping and replacing the old stuff with some new stuff.
As we were sitting there, she swept her hand over the landscape and pointed to the hills just beyond and said: "Hey: What do you think about how they 're-View-tilzed' the place?"
I didn't skip a beat, and then I told her that the view was just fine. It was simply fine, even better than ever.
This pic is an outtake of the Ripple/Hooter/Looks Good on all Boobs/Cap shoot we just finished. I'm sorry that this picture doesn't show the whole cap.
There are people out there who want the model to stand like a paper doll so they can see the thing flat and in total. You know: As if it were just a Thing.
Problem is, when I knit something, especially something I really like, it is hard for me to wear it and stand still.
So, today I am not standing still. I just like this thing. And I can't stop...dancing.
P.S. There will be better pics when I post the pattern including a pic of the back. Also, I'm nearly finished with the worsted version. Girlfriend will model it. Let's hope she can stand still at some point, too.

Love the photo, pure joy!

That's a great hat! I wonder how it would look with shorter, bob-length hair? So nice on you.
