I am so excited to knit your vest - just found 8 balls of Svale Dale of Norway in the stash. Woo-hoo!

Illanna

I really like this vest. When I saw the progress pics I really thought it was crocheted. I think I want to make it out of Calmer so it's more stretchy. I've wanted to use the new Tangerine Calmer color, and I think this vest pattern would be perfect. Thanks for the awesome design!

Wendy, I love your blog, and your patterns. I'm making the "Somewhat Cowl" right now, and love the Blue Sky Alpaca yarn.

Thanks for creating such an interesting and creative site - I really get inspiration from it.

Good day, would like to express my frustration, therefore it has some wonderful prescriptions, but unhappyly I do not obtain to know what it means the abbreviations, for example “K”, “P”, ETC. I am beginning, and I only make scarf and cap. It would like to make some prescriptions of this site but I do not obtain due the abbreviations that I do not know what it means. I am of Brazil and if somebody will be able to give to one help I is thankful to me. Congratulations for the creative and wonderful works. Kisses Sandra

i love the pattern...
would this pattern
be easily adapted to
using cascade 220
or superwash yarn?

This vest has exactly the shape and neckline I have been looking for. Here is the question though: Do you think I could use Malabrigo yarn, that's kind of a heavy worsted wt.? Also do you think it would work in plain stockinette stitch?
P.S. I am so enjoying Wincing the night away by the Shins.

hi wendy,

i am almost done with my fad classic and i'm so excited to wear it. i have a question, though, about the neck and armhole ribbing. can you make a recommendation on how many stitches to pick up? i am making the 36" size.

thanks for your help,
jennifer

This pattern has been in my mind for MONTHS! I think I'm finally going to try my first "sweater". I'm gonna go burgundy. Thanks for a great pattern! PS >> I LOVE YOUR BLOG!

Lisette

I'm sorry if I missed it, but what color # is the green you used for this, I really love the color.

Sarah

Do you think the new BSA skinny cotton would work well for this pattern?
